broke after 1 month of light use

This bowl came with my order and ended up breaking after 1 month of use. The glass handle creates a weak spot where it meets the bowl. So the whole piece ended up snapping in half one day as I was removing the bowl via the handle. I asked LA Pipes to send a replacement and they refused since the product was used...

Due to the nature of the products we sell, we can only offer a replacement if an obvious manufacturing defect is discovered and reported shortly after delivery. In this case, the item had been used for about a month, and the photo provided shows noticeable buildup. Regular cleaning is important, as residue can cause parts to stick and put added stress on areas like the handle when removing the bowl. That said, we did provide a discount to help with a replacement. We appreciate you sharing your feedback.

Down stream pipe about 1 inch too long @ 6.75 in. Touches bottom of bong. Was this my fault?
