Funnel glass 14mm bowl with handle

Well made efficient bowl with handle. I dropped my first one so I purchased two and have one for back up. The bowl opening seems to be the right size and overall easy to clean. The handle is the weakest part because it is fused on so here is a tip to keep your bowl and handle intact: Before every smoking session I loosen the down stem by twisting it carefully and pulling up on it because the resins are the culprit and that way the down stem won't pull out with the bowl. Same for the funnel bowl: twisting it carefully by the bowl and not the handle because the resins can make it stick in the down stem. This way your chances of breaking the handle off of the bowl are almost zeroed out. The bottom line is if the bowl is resistant to coming out try the above. Great product by LA Pipes!

broke after 1 month of light use

This bowl came with my order and ended up breaking after 1 month of use. The glass handle creates a weak spot where it meets the bowl. So the whole piece ended up snapping in half one day as I was removing the bowl via the handle. I asked LA Pipes to send a replacement and they refused since the product was used...

Hello Nathan,

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the bowl. Due to the nature of the products we sell, we can only offer a replacement if an obvious manufacturing defect is discovered and reported shortly after delivery. In this case, the item had been used for about a month, and the photo provided shows noticeable buildup. Regular cleaning is important, as residue can cause parts to stick and put added stress on areas like the handle when removing the bowl. That said, we did provide a discount to help with a replacement. We appreciate you sharing your feedback.
